"The rising snaked arrow, acting as the letter D to begin the word "Diploma", symbolises the growth and rise to success of the students studying on the winding path that is these 14-19 Diploma courses. When the clothing is worn, the design points to the target student saying that this person is on their way up. The course title is printed at both the base of the arrow, and between the shoulders on the back. The particular course being studied can also be ID'd from afar by the colourway of the clothing."
